2 Timothy 3:15-17 and
that from childhood you
have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for
salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (16) All Scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, (17) that
the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Peter 1:19-21 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; (20) knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, (21) for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 5:17-18 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. (18) "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled."
John 17:17 "Sanctify
them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
Eph 1:13 In Him you also
trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with
the Holy Spirit of promise,
1Thes 2:13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.
Rom 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans 16:25-27 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began (26) but now has been made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith (27) to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.
Acts 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
Heb 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Psalms 19:7-11 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; (8) The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; (9) The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. (10) More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. (11) Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.
Romans 9:17 For the
Scripture says to Pharaoh,
"For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power
in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth."

BIBLE IS ENOUGH -
Colossians 1:25-29 of
which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which
was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, (26) the mystery
which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been
revealed to His saints. (27) To them God willed to make known what are
the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is
Christ in you, the hope of glory. (28) Him we preach, warning every man
and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man
perfect in Christ Jesus. (29) To this end I also labor, striving
according to His working which works in me mightily.
Revelation 2:24-25 "Now
to you I say, and to
the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have
not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you
no other burden. (25) "But hold fast what you have [already]
till I come.

2 Peter 1:3-4 as His
divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life
and godliness
, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, (4)
by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises,
that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having
escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

John 5:46-47 "For if you

Me. (47) "But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe
My

Luke 16:16-17 "The Law

until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached,
and everyone forces his way into it. (17) But it is easier for heaven
and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.
Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who

Ephesians 3:1-6 For this reason
I, Paul, the
prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles; (2) if indeed you have heard
of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,
(3) how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have
briefly written already, (4) by which, when you read, you may
understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), (5) which in other
ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now
been revealed
by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: (6) that the Gentiles
should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise
in Christ through the gospel,
2 Peter 3:15-16 and consider
that the longsuffering
of our Lord is salvation; as also our beloved brother Paul, according
to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, (16) as also in all his
epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things
hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their
own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:1-6 Moreover,
brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you,
which also you received and in which you stand, (2) by which
also you are saved,
if you hold fast that word which I preached to you; unless you believed
in vain. (3) For I delivered to you first of all that which I also
received: that Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures, (4) and that He was buried, and that He rose
again the third day according to the Scriptures,
(5) and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. (6) After that
He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater
part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.
{The verses cited here
in 1 Cor.15
show that the gospel, as it is stated in the Four Gospels, is
scripture;
thus showing that the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
are indeed scripture.}

BIBLE IS FOR TODAY TOO -
1 Corinthians 10:11-12
Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were
written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
(12) Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
Psalms 102:18 This will be
written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may
praise the LORD.
1 Corinthians 9:9-10 For it is
written in the law of
Moses, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain." Is
it oxen God is concerned about? (10) Or does He say it altogether for
our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows
should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of
his hope.
Romans 15:4 For whatever things
were written before
were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort
of the Scriptures might have hope.
THE GOSPEL WAS PREACHED IN OLD TESTAMENT TIMES ALSO -
1 Peter 1:10-12 Of
this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who
prophesied of the grace that would come to you,
(11) searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who
was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings
of Christ and the glories that would follow. (12) To them it
was revealed
that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things
which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the
gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven things which angels
desire to look into.
Hebrews 4:2 For indeed the
gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word
which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in
those who heard it.
Galatians 3:8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."
John 8:56 "Your father Abraham
rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad."
Luke 24:27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
