Because you are His (saved) -
Numbers 6:27   And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.
Psalms 3:8   Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people. Selah.
Psalms 24:5   He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psalms 28:9   Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
Psalms 29:11   The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Psalms 33:12   Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD; [and] the people [whom] he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Psalms 37:26   [He is] ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed [is] blessed.
Psalms 65:4   Blessed [is the man whom] thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee, that] he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, [even] of thy holy temple.
Psalms 84:4   Blessed [are] they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.


By blessing others - .
Genesis 12:3   And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Psalms 41:1   To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.>> Blessed [is] he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Proverbs 22:9   He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.


By sowing His word (spreading the gospel) -
Genesis 26:12   Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
2 Corinthians 9:6   But this [I say]: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.


When you surrender to God -
Genesis 32:26   And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.


When you worship Him & spend time with Him -
Exodus 20:11   For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Deuteronomy 16:15   Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.


When you serve God & give of yourself for God -
Exodus 20:24   An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
Exodus 32:29   For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
Psalms 118:26   Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
Proverbs 8:34   Blessed [is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
Malachi 3:10   Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].

By obedience -
Genesis 22:18   And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Deuteronomy 7:13   And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Deuteronomy 11:27   A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

By giving to others -
Deuteronomy 24:19   When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

By trusting in God -

Psalms 34:8   O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him.
Psalms 84:5   Blessed [is] the man whose strength [is] in thee; in whose heart [are] the ways [of them].
Psalms 84:12   O LORD of hosts, blessed [is] the man that trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 30:18   And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD [is] a God of judgment: blessed [are] all they that wait for him.
Jeremiah 17:7   Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.


By going the righteous way and NOT following the world -
Psalms 1:1   Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psalms 5:12   For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as [with] a shield.
Psalms 89:15   Blessed [is] the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
Psalms 106:3   Blessed [are] they that keep judgment, [and] he that doeth righteousness at all times.
Psalms 112:2   His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Isaiah 56:1   Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation [is] near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.  Isaiah 56:2   Blessed [is] the man [that] doeth this, and the son of man [that] layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Matthew 5:6   Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

By your sins being forgiven -
Psalms 32:1   <<[A Psalm] of David, Maschil.>> Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered.
Psalms 32:2   Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.
Romans 4:7   [Saying], Blessed [are] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Romans 4:8   Blessed [is] the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.


By being chastened by God -
Psalms 94:12   Blessed [is] the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;


When you fear the Lord and love His word -
Psalms 112:1   Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psalms 115:13   He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great.
Psalms 128:1   <<A Song of degrees.>> Blessed [is] every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
Psalms 128:4   Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
Revelation 16:15   Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.


By being humble before God's grace -
Matthew 5:3   Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


By having (Godly)sorrow toward sin  (thus producing repentance) -
Matthew 5:4   Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
2 Corinthians 7:10   For godly sorrow produces repentance [leading] to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.


By being humble -
Matthew 5:5   Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.


By being merciful -
Matthew 5:7   Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
1 Peter 3:9   Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.


By being pure and true toward God -
Matthew 5:8   Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Revelation 16:15   Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.


By loving your enemies -
Matthew 5:9   Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.


By being persecuted for Christ's sake -
Matthew 5:10   Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:11   Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.


When God enlightens you -
Matthew 16:17   And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Luke 10:23   And he turned him unto [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see:
Luke 11:28   But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word of God, and keep it.


By NOT having to see to believe -
John 20:29   Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.


By enduring temptation -
James 1:12   Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
